Wally Burgers is back and in Killarney Market (49th and Elliott). Yummy!!!

I'll try it out as soon as I can!

  1. Wally Burgers up on Kingsway used to be 'The' place to score a bag of weed back in day-but time has a way of changing things....

LOL! Sounds like the perfect combination.

    2. I'm thinking that unless they've stepped up the quality that this will be more of an exercise in nostalgia.
The burgers I had before they closed didn't really match up to what is currently available in Vancouver.
But then I'll be very happy to eat my words if I'm offbase!!

I have read that a former radio personality merely bought the rights to use the Wally's name and brand. If they use fresh hand-formed patties, good buns, etc, then it is worth checking out. If they are using the same old Sysco, etc frozen patties, then I'm much less interested.

      2. So is Wally actually inside Killarney Market or out in the strip mall somewhere? I took a quick look this morning and couldn't find it.

Went there today. Its outside in the strip mall next to the pet hospital. I have bad news. It wasn't worth the trip. Yes the burgers look the same but they dont taste the same. Not even close. The sauce did not taste the same at all and there was too much of it. The patties were tough. It was quite busy but I can't imagine going back when I can go to Burger Heaven. A Deluxe Wagon combo was $9.50. Oh there isn't a lot of room and no tables. Just a counter along the wall with stools. I dont believe there is a washroom either. Major disappointment!

        2. The new owner just registered the business name, not bought it from the original former owner.
