Restaurant Eve Tasting Chefs Degustation

This was a recent Valentines Day weekend visit...hadn't been to Restaurant Eve before but its a very cozy, romantic setting, tucked off the streets of Old Towne Alexandria :)

I LOVED the feel of the Chefs Tasting Room and we had a wonderful seat which allowed us to people watch as we waited for each course to come out LOL

I would say there is quite a bit of wait time in between courses which was okay, though I found it a bit odd to have the wait staff gathered at that middle station in the middle of the dining room---(if you've been there or end up going, you'll know what i mean hehe) but yah, at times it felt like they were just hanging out there in the middle and chatting...I dont know why but that seemed a tad odd to me

The food was AMAZING and we went with the 9 course tasting, my bf pointed out later how most all the other ladies were doing the 5 or 7 course tastings and how most got a smaller tasting than their significant others...oh well, i like to eat, and by eat i mean eat lots of tiny bites of food and try different things hehe...
