Santa Cruz for Woodies on the Wharf

Heading to Santa Cruz in June for Woodies on the Wharf. It will be a crowded weekend so I'd like to make reservations well in advance. We'll be there 3 nights, 4 days so we can fit in a few things.

What should we not miss in that area? One pricey meal would work for us. OTOH a great burger or a great breakfast are things of beauty too and we could hardly go there without making our own commitment to "keeping it weird". ;>

Santa Cruz would be excellent. Capitola, Aptos, anything in that area that's memorable.
