Help!! Brigadeiro cake

  • 8

I tried the other the most delicious cake, it was basically a really moist chocolate cake filled with brigadeiro (brazilian sweets) and then topped with brigadeiro. I've been searching for this recipe all over the web but can't find anything, I really want to make this cake if someone can give me a recipe I would really appreciate it!
Thanks!

      1. Wow - that sounds great. I've had something similar but didn't know the name. Thanks for introducing me to it. Sorry too that some people take an unfriendly tone on here- I hope it doesn't put you off from participating more. I'm glad you introduced a new topic and taught me something new. Best of luck making it at home!

i apologize if you found my reply "unfriendly" - i just didn't understand how the OP's search could have turned up nothing.

I did find many recipes for brigadeiro but none for the cake, anyway you found one for the cake which I really appreciate since I am pregnant and craving that.
Bottom line I suck at finding things online, thank you so much for pointing that out and for the recipe.

I don't know anything about brigadeiro but, by coincidence, there was an article about condensed milk in today's NY Times food section, complete with a recipe for brigadeiros. Here's the link:

well, i do usually manage to find results that elude other people, but this one was a straight, simple Google search - maybe you misspelled it when you typed it in? anyway, glad i could help, and i hope the cake turns out to be as delicious as the one you had!
