Big Mama's & Papa's Pizza - AVOID
Wife and I were there Sunday night and ordered 2 cheese slices. What came out of the oven were obviously 2 way over-reheated slices. It looks like they added some fresh cheese before popping it back in to reheat, but the slices were burnt and and dried out. One bite was enough for my wife, who went to complain to the manager (franchise owner?). Rather than try to make it right (what can we do? etc), the response was a simple and rude "I don't care. I made it fresh for you. Do whatever you want with them"). So we left our almost totally uneaten slices on the table and walked out.
I know others have complained in the past about them, so just add us to the chorus.

Old fashioned red leather booths, good attitude and really good pizza. It's my go to place when I go out for pizza because it is too far to bring home (hate cold pizza love cold Chinese food. Go know). Full italian in terms of meats, poultry, pasta and pizza with good service

I believe BM&PP is a mini-chain; don't know if they're franchised, corp.-owned or what their structure is. You don't identify which location gave you this grief, and it may be specific to the location and staff there.
There's one across from my office in DTLA; I've found their slices to go mediocre at best; the "enormous slice" marketing angle almost guarantees done-ness issues. I haven't tried their "katachapouris" (which sound like a cross between a pizza and a bourek, with an egg on top).

The original post has a link to the North Hollywood location, but perhaps I should have been clearer. The purpose of my post wasn't so much to discuss the pizza (could there be a more subjective topic on Chowhounds?), but to serve as an alert about the unbelievable lameness of the management.BTW - I haven't heard back from the company regarding my complaint, nor do I expect to.

I have never been to their store but my friend ordered 2 huge pizzas for his superbowl party a month ago. They came on time and the pizza was reasonably good. nothing special but I have never seen a pie that size in my life. enormous does not begin to describe it. each pizza could feed 20 people or something crazy like that. I thought i must be at a guiness book of world records event or something as i couldnt figure out how the delivery guy even got them in his car...

I just checked the website for the company and there is a feedback page. You should report their attitude issue. You probably don't want to go back there anyway, but it might help others in the future. http://36pizza.com/page26.htm I ate there once about 6-8 months ago to try the khachapouri (sort of a pizza with an egg, on top). Had no problems, but I think next time I'll try the Vicious Dogs place nearby since it turned out the khachapouri wasn't my thing.
