Recipe for tunisian tuna salad
In North Africa this tuna mixture is used to fill savory pastries, but I know in Israel they also use it in sandwiches. And guess what? No tomatoes.
1 14 oz can tuna
small bunch of chopped coriander
juice of 1 lemon
1/4 teaspoon cayenne or chilli pepper
2 tablespoons capers, squeezed to remove vinegar
10 black olives pitted and cut in small pieces
3 hardboiled eggs, chopped
Mash all together and you've got a Tunisian/Moroccan tuna salad.
