Has anyone used Blue Bird Flour before?
I have a few bags of Blue Bird Flour, which is the type of flour Navajo Indians would use to make fry bread. Has anyone ever used it to make other things such as loaves of bread, cookies, etc.?
it also makes great bisquits, Pie crusts, and Pizza Dough. I'm no bread baker, so haven't tried.
It's only 8% protein so it isn't particularly useful as a "bread" flour. For quick breads, bisquits, flat breads and similar items it should, however, work quite nicely.
Where can I find a Bluebird around Fremont area? Im a navajo so I need one...lol. Desperate haha
