  1. I think I have a friend who did that. Let me (or him) get back to you.

OK, here's what my friend said: "unsure. i talked to chef, but cruise line operates almost independently from the parks, and he said they dont have internships on the boats yet, probs not till next year, but he was very vague and unclear."

Sorry if that's confusing. Apparently he only knows about the cruise lines, and right now, there's not a program in place there.

    2. Are you're asking about going into the culinary internship at Disney from an outside culinary program that you're currently attending? Or something other than that?
If you are planning on attending a culinary school and the school of your choice sends interns to the Disney program, they should be able to answer your questions, unless you wanted info straight from students who experienced it.
When I went to Johnson & Wales back in '79-'81, internships at Disney World (Florida) were available for grads. I opted out as I had a bunch of year's of culinary experience already and didn't need an internship program. Perhaps if you called or emailed J & W or checked their website and suggested that you may enroll with them at Providence, they will provide you with info about their internship programs. There may be information about internships on their website, given they still send students to Disney. It's been awhile since I went there and things have changed.
Here's a Disney link with some short comments from students about the internship program:
Good luck with this and your career!
