Foodies in Brooklyn?
I'd like to see the same thing happen, in one way or another, in my neighborhood.
I'm not saying that I only want trendy places or fancy places, I just want more quality places—and that could mean anything from authentic Thai, country French, rib-stickin' great barbecue, delicious, freshly made cuchifritos, artisanal ice cream, or a great freshly made burger cooked medium rare.
Done right, a influx of new diverse restaurants wouldn't necessarily push existing ones out. It might, however, raise the bar. And I'd gladly welcome that.
