Foodie needs dinner suggestions
Looking for some places to eat on my trip to NY. Dined at some amazing places on previous trips such as Momofuku Ko and Lupa. Just looking into going to some different places. What do you think of Little Owl? Craftbar? Gramercy Tavern (seems to get a lot of hype but the menu doesn't excite me too much, sure it's great though.) Roberta's in Brooklyn?
Trying to find the best Italian as well. Kind of wanted to go over to Arthur Avenue. Any suggestions there or anywhere for the best Italian?
How about Good Enough to Eat? Is that a good breakfast place? Or Permanent Brunch and Burger.
Help me out people. You have dined in NY and know the best. I don't want to do the typical high end dining like Per Se and Le Bernedain. (spelling I know) Thanks so much!
I think Roberta's (Brooklyn) is great.
For Arthur Ave. area, Roberto's gets the most attention from "foodies".
You may want to also post on Outer Boroughs to get good Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island recommendations. There is a lot of good Italian to be had of all different styles and price ranges. Can also do a search for "Arthur Ave.", "Brooklyn Italian" and the like.

Re: Gramercy Tavern. If you are referring to the formal dining room, I have found the food there to be very disappointing. However, my experiences in the Tavern Room (no reservations accepted) have been quite the opposite as everything we've had has been delicious.

For Italian, I'm currently liking Maialino a lot.

I've heard that Maialino also serves a terrific breakfast.

We had already planned on eating breakfast there one morning as we did hear the same. Amazing breakfast. Can't wait to try it. One of our favorite chefs Rick Bayless dined there on a trip to NY and really enjoyed it. That's actually how we found out about it. Thanks!
