Late March visit to New Orleans...
My boyfriend are arriving for our annual visit on March 28th and staying through April 4th. We're having lunch at Commander's Palace on Wednesday, but that is the only thing set in stone so far.
We're looking for delicious but affordable food throughout the week, and one more expensive dinner at a fabulous restaurant. Maybe two, or some exciting and reasonably priced lunches.
Recommendations please!
I have been to many places around the Quarter (by which I mean Napoleon House, Acme, Felix's, Coop's, Gallatoire's, Central Grocery, Cafe du Monde) and prefer to stay close to there or on the streetcar line.
Thank you!
If you love Commander's Palace, you'll probably also enjoy Bayona or Iris, both of them in FQ. Exciting lunch = The Green Goddess (I'd go later, like 1ish, when it's less crowded)
Fresh French cuisine at MiLa or rustic Italian at Domenica, both only a few blocks across Canal.
For your expensive dinner, I'd go to Stella! But make your reservations now. Have a great time in our wonderful city!

Thanks for the Stella! rec. Any idea how much the Chef's Tasting Menu costs?
