Tan tan noodles in Toronto?

I just had tan tan noodles for the first time in Vancouver at a Szechuan restaurant. I'm not sure if they're a common menu item or not. Does anyone know where to get them in TO? And preferably a place that does them well!

Chinese Traditional Buns on Dundas does an awesome version. Be sure to ask for the hand made noodles.

I've had the ba shu ren jia version junkie is mentioning. It's awesome. As an aside, have the pork dumplings in spicy broth from the same dim sum menu. Amazing.

If you're close to downtown, you can try the version sold at Chinese Traditional Bun at on Dundas just west of Spadina. Not sure if it's Szechuan. But it has many of the same components and tastes great (ask for homemade noodles).

I believe you'll seem them on menus as Dan Dan noodles.

ba shu ren jia @ steeles/midland does cheap and simple dandan mian.... its a single portion, perfect spiced, with some minced meat, noodles, and green onions (i recall it was 2.99 for a "dimsum" portion)

hot spicy spicy @ leslie/finch plaza does it pretty good... i think it was about 6.99 or so ... large rectangular prism styrofoam takeout container that comes with the noodles, meat, sauce (definitely has that szechuan pepper kick, and a choy

mr sun's noodles @ pmall (heritage town 2nd floor) has it made with their specialty handpulled noodles, however the sauce isn't as authentic as the other places but the noodles are great
