Downtown Toronto restaurant with good veg options for birthday dinner

I am looking for recommendations for a great restaurant downtown for my birthday dinner. We are a party of 5 women, most of us vegetarian. Need somewhere with a great, fun atmosphere, and not too expensive. We are all well travelled and love global tastes. Not Fresh (we have all eaten there before many times!) I am new in town and don't know my way around the eating scene here yet! Thanks

I would suggest Negroni on College, just west of Bathurst. It's got veg-friendly plates, very reasonable prices on the wine list, and when you're done it's a short stroll to the rest of College for cocktails.

Lee has tons of great vegetarian dishes on the menu and has a fun vibe. Fressen, which I'm sure you already know about, would also be a good choice.
