I'd go to Apizz just for their meatballs. They are that good.

I enjoy both, but I'm partial to Peasant. The owner is a pleasant and regular guy and I like his rustic approach to cooking.

I agree. They're both delicious restaurants. I really like Lafemina who has ownership in both places. He has the midas touch.

Lafemina has no interest in Peasant.

Ha ha. Are you following me KT? Thanks! I'm flattered. That's really nice of you. I think you're confused about that link. The article doesn't say that apizz caused a split between Peasant ownership. It just symbolized the two not opening up future restaurants together. Instead, Lafemina went with Xerxes. Again, this has been fun. Good luck and enjoy your day!

Lafemina has interest in both - De Carlo is only Peasant.

I love both - Peasant is a bit louder if that matters to you.

Apizz is a great restaurant. Everything is made to order and it seems the chef really takes pride in his work. The dishes have well paired components and the environment is ideal to enjoy a great meal.
