LA Place and other food trucks in Pasadena and Highland Park

My latest craving is for carne asada. There is a food truck that stops near the Pasadena city hall and Paseo Colorado area (Colorado Blvd. and Garfield) weekdays called LA Place. They have the most decadent carne asada french fries: thin seasoned fries, topped with carne asada, onions, green and red salsa and other yummy toppings. $4.

I asked them to make me a carne asada salad. This was a delicious, huge salad, with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, carne asada, cheese, red and green salsa, several tortilla chips and a fresh lime. It was so delicious and filling. I loved it. $5.

There is a taco truck on Fair Oaks in Pasadena is great, too. If you have any other similar recommendations, please let me know.
