restaurant for large group - vegetarian friendly and w/in 20 min of Brookline

My school graduation is approaching (March 19) and a few friends and I would like to go out to dinner afterwards with our families. The ceremony is in Longwood, so around there would be perfect, but if we find somewhere good that's a little further away that's okay too. There will probably be 12-20 people total. We're looking for a place that is nice but not too expensive - maybe around $20 a dish. Also, one friend and her family are all vegetarians, so the menu has to be vegetarian friendly. And obviously the place needs to be able to accomodate large groups. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Both Elephant Walk or Fugakyu would be great!

Elephant Walk might work. I know they can handle large parties.

Fugakyu http://www.fugakyu.net in Coolidge Corner would be really convenient from Longwood, and they have cool little side rooms for about 12-25 people with long low tables that you can reserve.

It's within your price-range depending on what people choose to order. It's not one of my favorite places, but it would be a good choice for your needs and there's plenty of options for pickier eaters or non-sushi lovers.
