Where can I find GREAT fried shrimp in Manhattan?

I feel like people are always talking about fried chicken but what about fried shrimp!? I don't think it has ever been brought up. It's a favorite anywhere you go in the country but it's often done very poorly. Can anybody recommend a place to get amazing fried shrimp that's not in a sandwich?
