Herb and spice database blog

I'm looking for an organic chemist's (I think) blog on flavor compounds in herbs and spices. This guy has built a pretty extensive database on herbs and spices used by various cultures and even provides names in multiple languages. I think I may have found the link once on Harold McGee's blog, but he doesn't have it anymore. Thanks!
