Centre for Performing Arts Restaurants

Hi all - I'll be up at the Centre for Performing Arts (Yonge/Sheppard) for the Jersey Boys show next week. I'm wondering if there are any recommendations for a good meal pre-show. I'm totally unfamilar with that area.

Please advise!

Please do not go to Baton Rouge!!!!!!

Other than that I don't have any suggestions for you sorry.

There are Jersey Boys threads a-plenty. The general consensus is don't eat at that intersection. Will you be travelling by transit or car?

...unless you like Korean food. Ehwa is only about a block away, and we were able to have a quick, tasty, cheap dinner there and easily make it to the show. Definitely a better alternative to Baton Rouge. :)

I've pretty much given up on the area. I have a monthly meeting there (for about 10 years) and am still searching for something I can recommend.
If you're driving, eat on the way. If you're taking the subway, find a place en route (it's well-worth the extra token!). Googs has a subway dash 'n' Dine thread that will help.

if you can drive say about 15 minutes, me-va-me at bathurst and steeles is pretty good. Also Indian Kitchen on yonge and clarke is not bad.

Indian Kitchen used to be my go-to place. But has gone seriously downhill!

I have heard about the glorious history of this place. presently, I would go to Baton Rouge instead.

I wouldn't recomend Baton Rouge. I was taken on a date to the show and we wanted to do dinner before that. The service was rushed and the food was really bad.

I Do Not recommend it either, only if the other option in the world was that Indian restaurant
