Vegan grocery los feliz/silverlake/echo park area?

Can anyone recommend a great vegan friendly grocery in the los feliz/silverlake/echo park area? Besides wholefoods and TJ's? I just moved to town from NYC and am hoping there is a great little Mom and Pop shop out there. Thanks in advance!

    1. While not a traditional, American grocery store, India's Sweets and Spices on Los Feliz is vegetarian at the least and has many vegan-friendly offerings at best. In fact, I don't think they sell any meat there whatsoever and their dairy section is a fraction of the floor space of the entire store.

        1. Naturewell on Sunset, but it's limited. Farmers market on Sunset Saturdays or Atwater farmers market on Glendale (I don't remember the day)

The Atwater farmers' market is Sundays from 10 am to 2:

And the Hollywood farmers' market is Sundays from 8 am to 1 pm:

There's a CFM in Barnsdall Park on Wednesdays afternoons:

And the post office parking lot on Vermont south of Franklin has a sort of mini-farmers market, although the offerings are slim compared to Atwater or Hollywood/Ivar:

            2. Although there's a limited offering due to the size of the store, you might want to check out Locali on Franklin and Canyon in Hollywood, just west of the Los Feliz border. They don't have a large variety, but they have interesting items.

                1. also check out nature mart in los feliz on hillhurst. a nice variety of vegan groceries, plus they have a bulk bin annex next door which is great for oatmeal, quinoa, rice, etc.

Just checked out Nature Mart last night and wow! I love the bulk food annex. And their herbs and supplements section is very robust.
