Tapas suggestions?

Hi All,

Im looking for a new tapas place that can accomdate about 5 or 6 friends for drinks and tapas. I've been to several and have enjoyed Pipa, tapeo 29, and las ramblas (too small).

All suggestions are appreciated!

We enjoy the wonderful tapas size small plates at Casa Mono, usually go as walk ins on Sunday afternoons it's a small place and tends to get crowded later on. They have an excellent selection of Spanish wines and I like that they carry my favorite sparkling mineral water, Vichy Catalan.

They do accomodate a party of 5 or 6. But you must call in for reservations.

Bar Jamon right next door might be fun as well.

Casa Mono and Bar Jamon are Mario Batali establishments, for those who are interested in this sort of thing.

Mercat is fairly spacious.

Boqueria in Soho might be a bit bigger than some of the other tapas places.
