  1. Do you mean Pane and Gelato? The article says cookies are $18.99 a POUND!!!!!! Gelato is $3. a cup -- I hope that's a large cup.

$18.99 a pound, can you imagine?

I have been to this place maybe 2 - 3 times. Their gelatos are very good. They have many flavors to choose from and many different sizes. The sizes range from a tub to a mini cup. You mention $3 a cup but not the size, again they have many different sizes which I like because sometimes I just want a little to satisfy my sweet tooth. I also have gotten the tub with two different flavors to take home. I also love their breads. One evening I got a sandwich with fresh mozzarella and olive oil on one of their breads and it was excellent. Haven't seen the NYT review yet but am curious to read it.

The article quoted $3. and didn't mention a size.

What is the cost of the largest size and what are the ounces?

$18.99 for a POUND of cookies is highway robbery.

    2. Hehehee unfortunately, my brain doesn't inhibit me from buying expensive snackies if they are delicious! Ill have to see.... where exactly on Route 22 is it??

It is on the right in that little center right before true value hardware if you are heading north and just about across the street from ciao. I think there used to be a pet store there? I just noticed it as I drove by today and was coming on to post.

Take 22 South past Piper's Kilt. It's about a mile or two down on the left. However, you can't see it from the southbound side of 22. Once you go past Mill Road, look for Claude's Gallery on the right. Once you pass the Gallery it's about a 1/2 mile down on the left. Gelato looks to die for!
