lamb chops in baltimore

anyone know a good place to get either rib or loin chops in baltimore city? i thought either whole foods or safeway but how is the quality. i would venture to lexington market, but only have time to buy them on friday evening when i imagine most vendors would be closed already.

thanks.

just an update. went to whole foods where they graciously cut rib chops from the rack. they were new zealand chops and oh so yummy with a sprinkle of olive oil, rosemary and garlic. recommend to anyone on the hunt for lamb.

Your prep of the lambchops sounds yummy. Also have purchased lamb from Whole Foods. Would have loved to grill them, but didn't have access to a grill, so I broiled them with a honey mustard/bread crumb coating. They turned out to be quite delicious. IMHO.

Before Christmas, the local Giant store offered an entire rack of lamb (prepped with the cute little "booties"). A much better quality then what they usually have on hand. Maybe a once in a lifetime opportunity. Lately, they have reverted back to sub-par lamchops. FoiGras

Don't think Costco has Prime beef which Wegmans does

Ceriello's has some really delicious lamb. Some of the tastiest chops I've ever had the pleasure of cooking.

Ceriello's in Belvedere Square; Eddie's on Roland Avenue will plainly have high quality.

If you are close to either an Eddie's or a Graul's give them a try!!
