Sunday Breakfast very close to Metropolitan Museum of Art

I'd like to find a place that takes reservations on a Sunday morning and is very close to the Met. My father-in-law will be going to the met after we meet him for breakfast. I was considering Sarabeth's, but was wondering if there are better options. Thank you!

If you go before 11 I don't think Sabarsky will be a problem. If you go this weekend it definitely shouldn't be tough to get into.

        1. Carlyle Hotel - roughly four blocks away

          1. Sarabeth's and Cafe Sabarsky are really your best choices. I don't think you can go wrong with either place if you're taking the father-in-law.

Thanks everyone. I'd love to try Cafe Sabarsky, but I think my father-in-law would be happier with the menu at Sarabeth's. Plus I'd like to go somewhere that I can make reservations.

According to their website they do online through opentable.

The Wright at the Guggenheim Museum takes reservations for Sunday brunch. I haven't been there yet but the restaurant has received good reviews on this board.
