Jordan's Country Crisp
Does anyone know of a store in the NYC area that sells Jordan's Country Crisp cereal (specifically the chocolate flavor)? It's a British cereal. I have tried some British groceries but not had any luck.

Maybe, just maybe if you venture to the very Irish Woodlawn section of the Bronx, you might find it at a place such as Sean's on Katonah Ave. Check on Outer Boroughs for other grocery recs in that neighborhood as well. (I know Irish and British are not exactly the same, but this area has a lot of grocery items imported from across the pond)

This thread may give you some ideas. In case there are some places you might not have tried yet. Have you tried Fairway? If that doesn't work you can always try ordering it online.

Fairway is a great idea. Also, I think that some of the Devon & Blakely's in the city have small grocery items like cereals and snacks.

I got hooked on Country Crisp (the nutty one) while in France in 2005. I have been looking for a cost-effective way to get this manna from heaven into the US ever since. No American cereal even begins to compare.
My only success thus far was by begging my friend from Toronto to bring some of it with him when he visits NYC. Yes, they sell it in Canada but not the US, oddly enough. I even wrote to Jordans at one point asking why it's available in Canada but not the US. Their answer was "distribution problems".
Please let me know if you have any success finding it at a NYC grocer.
