Cuban hot dog in Tampa, FL?

  • 3

I had someone take me a few years ago to a small cuban? restaurant in Tampa where we had the best hot dogs ever. They were loaded up with all kinds of stuff like chips and pineapples! I cannot find this restaurant any more at all. Does anyone have a clue what I am talking about? I would love to go back if they are still there.

  1. Sounds intriguing but not familiar at all. Can you recall any details about the place?

    1. Crushed chips and other odd toppings on hot dogs is typically a Colombian thing rather than Cuban. Maybe searching for Colombian restaurants or hot dogs in Tampa can help you narrow it down further.

La Perrada is a possibility. 7803 N. Armenia. The card I have in my wallet says they are only open 4 pm-12 am most days.
