Fun Restaurants/Bars on a Monday Night?
I haven't been out on a monday night in ages—any restos or bars doing anything special on a monday night?

Not sure which area you're looking in, but if you find yourself on the Southwestside, Havana Mania (Inglewood & Manhattan Beach Blvd near the 405) has happy hour all night on Mondays - half price on the whole mojito menu and discounts on the small dishes. Food is pretty good too ... maybe not the greatest Cuban you ever tried, but much better than the M.B. branch of Versailles (better atmosphere too)

That's a fun idea! Must be more restaurants doing this sort of thing?
To share what I've found so far, every monday night: Lou on Vine does a $55, 3-course + 5-wine dinner, El Floridita has live music and Cuban food. I haven't been there in years but it was the first place in LA I had Mojitos, back in the early 90's. And, 3 of Clubs does a Burlesque night. Still searching....

I know Jiraffe also does a prixe fixe for $38 on monday nights and Campanile does a $35 family style menu on Monday nights as well. Good luck!

The Monday night roast chicken for 2 at Comme Ca is excellent and a good value too when you consider that you end up taking home enough left overs for another couple of meals, plus vegetables and herbs for the stock. And it comes with fries -- so, $42 for a top quality whole roast chicken for two, plus fries and a vegetable, not bad at all.
