Headed your way...
Hello all-
I lived in Boston from 99-02, and am returning with my boss for the Eric Solomon portfolio tasting 3/1 and 2. We are, at the moment, going to Blue Room for dinner (I used to work there and I love the wine list... and Troquet is closed). Looking for drinks/wine bar for after dinner-- preferably t-accessible, though not a huge deal if not. Green st. comes to mind-- is Central Kitchen still as good as it used to be? I know that B-side closed... thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Besides Green St. and Eastern Standard, you could walk over to Hungry Mother and see if their little bar is packed. People have had some good luck at Lord Hobo which took the B Side's space but it's mostly known for the large beer selection. You could hop on the red line for a drink at No. 9 Park.

Eastern Standard comes to mind - they're new since you left and have established a reputation for top-notch cocktails, as well as good to great food. And they're right in the heart of Kenmore Square, just a few doors down from the T entrance. (The signs on the awning say ESK for Eastern Standard Kitchen).
