What's The Best Dish At Bouchon?

Have any of you Hounds been to Bouchon and really liked it?

I'm going with friends tonight, and have
read the other threads here, but they're all from people who were just okay with the food. So, if you've been there
recently and really liked it, what really impressed you and why?

Looks like I shouldn't miss the Terrine de Foie Gras de Canard and the Moules au Saffron. Anything else?

  1. Sorry I couldn't have posted this earlier, but I can tell you two things: the Steak & Frites is NOT the best thing, and the Poulet is done very, very well. As is the Frisee salad aux lardons. Everything else we had was pretty standard, not compelling in the least.

      I second the steak and frites being something less than impressive. Sadly, this dish has so much potential and has disappointed the two times I've had it. The Las Vegas bistro has chicken and waffles for brunch which is definitely the best dish I've experienced at Bouchon. Check and see if they've got it when you go.

        1. I second the Frisee salad aux lardons and oysters. If you eat at Bar Bouchon, the escargots are amazing.
