Spending the day with Mom and starting near Rittenhouse Square. Any ideas for a nice lunch or early dinner?

She might enjoy Devon Seafood Grill, right on the square. It is open all day.
The cheese biscuits served to everyone are delicious.

Branzino, on 17th St. just north of Spruce, is very good for dinner. BYOB.
Lunch is good there, but very quiet - very few people. You might prefer the vibe at someplace like Devon.

Estia is a lovely restaurant near Rittenhouse that has spectacular fresh fish and a $30 three course business lunch special. http://www.estiarestaurant.com

If Mom likes seafood and you want "special occasion" this is the place, even at their regular prices.

I agree about additional info - but in the meantime I'd suggest Tria

Thank you for the suggestions so far. Mom would probably appreciate anything fish or Italian. Budget is. . . special occasion. Thanks! Also, lunch could be early dinner instead.

Lots of options in that area. Might help if you gave an idea of Mom's age/preferences and a price range.
