Visiting NYC with daughter to celebrate high school graduation

Need suggestions for moderately priced "teen friendly" restaurants in the NYC. Uptown, downtown, eastside, westside are all okay! Would love suggestions for pizza and Italian especially, plus some "fun" types of places as well. Used to live in NYC but moved to Florida 15 years ago.

Will be going to various museums and touristy spots so would live to find restaurants nearby (MOMA, Natural History Museum, Ellis Island, Empire State Building, Tenemant Museum, etc...).

  1. I like Pala for something like this. It's a slightly casual, fancier than your average pizza place in the now very hip Lower East Side (it wasn't so when you were living in NYC 15 years ago). They make a tasty pie and it's great for groups. They also take group reservations so you won't be stranded. Pala serves pizzas, salads, antipastis and pastas. Enjoy!

Yum. Thanks for the suggestion of PALA. Will put that on my list!
