Celebration with Group of 15 or so??

I am trying to organize a graduation dinner in April with about 15 people. I am looking for a restaurant that has a festive atmosphere that will allow everyone to talk and enjoy themselves with such a large group. We would prefer something with a Mexican or Southwestern influence since many of the guests are from out of town, but any really delicious food will work.

We are located in Glendale, but we're willing to travel within a reasonable distance (Scottsdale or downtown phoenix would be ok). Also, hoping not to spend a ridiculous amount, but it doesn't have to be cheap. Any suggestions?? Thanks so much!

I would consider the private rooms at Rokerij or Dick's Hideaway.

Tradiciones might be a good venue for the kind of event you're describing. I haven't been thrilled with the food on my visits, but it seems that others here have had better luck. Definitely festive and moderately priced.

It's not terribly close to Glendale, but it's not far off I-10; so, you won't have to spend too much time on surface streets.

All suggestions above are good. Let me also suggest Sierra Bonita Grill at 7th St. & Glendale Avenue. It serves good Southwesten food and has a private event room:
