Has anyone been to this place on Coxwell, where Hollingers used to be? Everytime I peak in it looks empty.. but then again, thats usually during the afternoon.. has anyone been?

My volleyball team goes after our games on Tuesdays. While the food isn't EXCELLENT it is quite good. The burgers are good with a little pink in the middle (which was a nice surprise) and they have a veggie burger that has pecans in it which is good but crumbly. I always giggle at the plating. Even when I order the burger with a side salad (simple, but decent mixed greens) they insist on putting a small pile of shredded iceburg with some carrot on it. I guess old habits die hard.

I've heard good things about the Bonnie Brae salad which is essentially some of everything . Inevitably at least one player orders it and is more than happy.

it could be first date worthy, nice enough to make a good first impression, casual enough for jeans and a t-shirt, and inexpensive enough that if the date went poorly you wouldn't be put out too much.

Thanks for the update. I will probably try it out some time.

I love this restaurant the brunch on the weekends is divine. I f you like Eggs Benny this is a great place to go. They have stuffed french toast and other wonderful items . They also do a great job on salads and wraps. If you haven't been there yet you are missing out.

We actually went a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. The service was good, and the food was pretty good for a pub. Nachos were a pass though.. but because of the 1/2 app deal, we will be back to try some of the other offerings.

I've been there a few times for work-related events and found it mediocre. The final Hollinger's incarnation was MUCH better, got a near rave from Lynn Crawford on Makeover, and failed. The Makeover curse? Bad promotion in the neighbourhood? What can I say? Remarks is - hmmm - unremarkable.
