Anyone tried the lobster pot pie at Berkeley Bowl?
... or the chicken pot pie?
A recent Michael Minna thread brought the BB pie to mind. It is $9.95. The better deal is to get it in the restaurant because for that same price it comes with a salad.
Just wondering how the pot pies compare to others in the area.
I haven't, but I did try the duck-confit shepherd's pie, and it wasn't very good at all, which doesn't give much confidence in their doing a good job with something as delicately flavored as lobster. The duck dish was so badly seasoned that it could have been made with any mystery-meat.
