Need trendy/scene restaurant rec around Redondo Beach
I'm looking for restaurant recs for an out-of-town businessman who is into trendy/scene-ish restaurants, preferably near the Redondo Beach, for a Saturday lunch. Criteria is no seafood and no Japanese. About $20-30pp.

I usually do not recommend restaurants that I’ve eaten at only once or twice, but I’ll make an exception here since my experience was quite favorable and I was introduced to it by a very reliable source who swears that it’s the best the South Bay has to offer. The foie gras and the sweetbreads were very good indeed. Great ambience. One block from the beach. Cool vibe in Bouzy, the front bar. Definitively trendy.

Petros in Manhattan Beach has great upscale Greek food in a really nice setting.

Hmmm ... a "sceney" place in Redondo Beach at noon on a Saturday? Not much, except maybe Catalina Coffee, where bored soccer-mom book groups arrange themselves on the overstuffed sofas in full makeup and flirt with the cycling teams in sweaty Lycra ... but that's probably not what you had in mind :)
Perhaps you might want to consider the Grill at the new Terranea resort in PV? Great views (especially for an out-of-towner in February) and the food is fairly competent; with careful ordering you can probably hit the $30 target.

not trendy or scene-ish but Kincaid's or Cheesecake Factory have nice views. Or for super casual, maybe someplace on the Hermosa Pier.
