Any advice for a casual place in downtown Annapolis?

Staying right near the Academy, looking for recs for crabcakes and/or a casual dinner in that area. We will have a car though, and can drive a reasonable distance.

    My favorite crabcakes downtown are at McGarvey's or Galway Bay. I also really like Rockfish for casual.

      While its not exactly downtown but its fairly close to it. I recommend Edgewater Restaurant for crab cakes.
