Baker and Spice makes a great croissant. In fact all of their pastries made with that laminated dough are great, such as the katie bun (with currants and sweet glaze) and their maple syrup danish.
I love St. Honore's croissants... they're an authentic French bakery with wonderful on-site traditional baked goods and other items. Thurman just west of 23rd or in Lake Oswego.
