Montreal gay village suggestions

I am spending a few days, early Spring, staying in the Village area. Looking for fine-ish type dining. In the past I tried Piccolo Diavolo, L'Independent, Le Planete, O'Thym and Aux Petit Extra (loved it). Am thinking maybe exploring rue Ontario?

Has to be walkable form St. Catherine near Beri-UQUAM metro. Suggestions?

p.s. does not have to be quote-unquote gay establishments, I care about good food and ambiance.

David Biron just opened a new resto in the village - Biron at 1429 Amherst.
I believe it's Asian fusion....
