Can't miss plates at Amada?
Thanks so much, everyone! It was an absolutely marvelous meal. We ordered:
Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! Cocktail for me (lemon rosemary martini)
Matador Cocktail for Himself (ginger bourbon smash)
Green Salad (really refreshing with green beans and avocado, especially considering the meatful nature of the rest of our meal.)
Chorizo a la plancha
Wild mushroom, artichoke, and manchego flatbread
A 4 oz. portion of the suckling pig with white bean and rosemary sauce
Grilled octopus special with a preserved lemon glaze and pickled watermelon rind
Crema Catalana de Chocolate with strawberry gelee and berry sauce
Everything was delicious, but the octopus was the real standout. I was looking most forward to the suckling pig, but it was actually a bit dry. We loved the sophisticated atmosphere and adept but not hovering service. We will definitely go back, and next time we'll bring friends!
