Providence Business Dinner

I have to meet someone for a business dinner in early March. I am looking for a good but quiet restaurant to have a business discussion. Any type of food is possible but we would like something good. Jay

This exact topic was just covered a couple weeks ago. Try a board search- it'll definitely come up.

I recommend Cappriccio's in Providence. Great for lunch or dinner and it will impress. Not inexpensive but excellent.

Unless something at Capriccio's has changed recently, I'd never recommend it. Search the board before making reservations here.

What is your price point? Not knowing that, here are a few to look into.
        Pane E Vino
Siena (but might be a bit too loud for a business conversation)
        Gracie's
        Chez Pascal
        Hemenway's
        La Laiterie

If you are able to travel out of the downtown area, I would recommend "d.carlo's" in Smithfield, as well. It's about twenty minutes from downtown, located on Rte 7 (very easy to get too) not too far from Bryant College. The atmosphere is conducive to what you are looking for, the food is delicious. They are open for lunch each day as well (I believe 11:30 - 2:30).
