Interesting recommendations near the New Museum

Following a morning at the New Museum, a friend and I would like to find an interesting late lunch spot close by. We're open to kinds of cuisine, but would like it to be affordable.

And for dessert,,, Ceci Cela or Balthazar Bakery. Rice to Riches looks good as well, but I've never been.
