Smoked Salmon app in RI?

I was in Boston a few weeks ago and I had a wonderful smoked salmon app. I would love to have smoked salmon somewhere in RI. Any good suggestions?

Whole Foods carries the best product in NE IMO and based on other chef's is Duck Trap Farms They use WIld Salmon which is the only salmon for a good smoking.

Agreed. Dave's Market (RI chain) also sells Ducktrap wild smoked salmon at, I think, $6.99/4 oz., which is only a buck more than their farmed smoked salmon and well worth it. A quick & simple app for Alica: put a curl of salmon on cream cheese smeared toast point, garnish w/chopped scallions or chives & lemon.

I had a smoked salmon app on my iPad but luckily it washed off.

Not a "where," but if you don't have a cold smoker but DO make gravlax at home, try it with smoked salt (make your own next time you burn wood) & omit the dill. It's not bad.

Try Persimmon in Briston. Champe does a nice app very simple without killing the salmon taste.

as far as i know julian's in providence still smokes their own salmon. i usually have it on a blt for breakfast.
