Faidley's in Lexington Market always has lobsters, but they tend to be expensive.
The Canton Safeway (more or less in my neighborhoo) used to have live lobsters, but stopped carrying them a year or so ago. The closest place (besides Faidley's) from me to reliably get them is at the Giant on Merritt Blvd. in Dundalk.

If you can venture outside of the city to the korean grocery stores in Catonsville and Ellicott City, their prices are much better than most for lobsters.

I also love fresh steamed lobster but have been unable to find it for so long in baltimore as take out. We used to vacation in NJ where the Shop Rite had great live lobsters steamed to order for like $5.99 a pound. We found a Shop Rite in Baltimore that steams them and they are fantastic. They are fresh in the tank every week. You'll have to look up Shop Rites address on internet but I know there are three of them in the Baltimore area. Hope this helps.

I just looked at the Shop Rite website, there are no stores in Baltimore, the closest seems to be Jacksonville.

Eddie's (Roland Ave or Charles Street) will order them for you (I recall they need a day)and may even have a few at Charles Street. There is also a fish market in Little Italy, immediately to the east of Presidents Street, that sells lobsters, but I am blanking on the name.

I believe the Little Italy place is Mo's Fisherman's Wharf on Presidents Street.

The Superfresh on 41st Street has a lobster tank, I have seen them on sale for $7.99 a lb there.

My husband always makes me lobster risotto for Valentine's day and he got them at Wegman's if you can go outside the city proper. They were great, though I don't know about the price.

Wegmans is ordinarily in the 9.99-10.99 range depending on size. They've been as low as 7.99 when the lobsters have moulted and shells are softer. Grauls also has a lobster tank on Padonia rd. prices a dollar or two higher.
