Raleigh - Glenwood Grill
After scarfing down some sushi at Haru the other night, I noticed the Glenwood Grill next door. Somehow I'd been by the place several times without noticing it. Has anyone been here? If so, is it worth a visit?

Hey! Is this down in the little shopping center where the "small" Harris Teeter is? Same Glenwood Grill?
If so, I used to eat there on a regular basis and while the food was always well above average, over time I found the portions to become smaller and the interior dated. I really haven't been in the past 3 years at least.
I would love to hear some current commentary! Thanks for the reminder!

re: dinersaurus
Dinersaurus! Thanks to you (!), I drove down to get get sushi from Haru earlier this evening --- I didn't even know know Haru was there. I'm eating my take-out right now! Salmon roll and Crunchy tuna roll.... totally awesome, fresh & flavorful. YUM!
I peered into Glenwood Grill around 10 till 6pm and they already had a few tables with diners, and there were plenty of folks at the bar. Also, I see the interior has been totally updated from my last visit there, so I am definitely looking forward to hearing what other Hounds have to say about the chow! Thanks a million!

re: Tehama
Excellent. I've managed to do something useful for once.
Yeah, Glenwood Grill looked fairly contemporary when I walked by - I didn't want to stare, but it looked nice. Judging by the overwhelming amount of traffic on this thread, it appears that a lot of people overlook the area too.
Note that Hereghty's patisserie in the adjacent is another neat spot for snacks and coffee if you've never been. They also stay open fairly late so it's a nice place for some wine and dessert.
