Hello. I am new to the boards and live in the Montgomeryville area. Does anyone have any ideas on good vegeterian restaurants near Montgomeryville?

Haven't been there in forever, but for a while Blue Sage in Southampton was probably the best vegetarian restaurant in the region. Not super close to Montgomeryville, but not too far and worth the trip if its still good.

Other than Blue Sage as suggested by barryg- it is difficult to find veg resaurants anywhere around. Arpeggio in Spring House is an excellent restaurant with great veggie selections. Hummus, Baba ganoush, falafel, grilled veggies etc. Great caesar salads. I love this place.

I have to agree with DCF. We go to Arpeggio at least one a week. Their food is fantastic.

Love Arpeggio. I've heard of a raw foods cafe in Lansdale called Arnold's Way but know nothing about it.

Arnold's is a big disappointment. Do not go out of your way to check it out- you can do better at home or even at a local supermarket salad bar.

Thanks for everyones feedback! I will have to try out both Blue Sage and Arpeggio. It is too bad there aren't more vegetarian restaurants in the burbs.

Agreed. Was just complaining to my friend last night about this. Be sure to let us know how you like those places. Some of the Asian restaurants hereabouts have extensive vegetarian offerings as well. I have also learned to think chinese, thai or vietnamese when in the mood for seafood in this neck of the woods.

East Cuisine in Broad Axe has an extensive vegetarian menu and the food is very good.

Blue Sage is delicious. Although it is not strictly vegetarian, there is All Ways Cafe at the corner strip mall at Welsh and Huntington Pike. They have some great vegetarian food. I really love the sweet potato quesadillas.
