A group of about 8 of us need a comfortable place to eat around 10 PM on Saturday night.
Chowish food and a somewhat quiet atmosphere would be great,,,any suggestions?

10 pm is a little on the late side. You guys have a price point?

Checked Bar Boulod, but it is booked. Rosa Mexicano nearby had a reservation on Opentable for 8 people at 10:30. The dining room has a nice atmosphere.

During the week 10 p.m. might be considered late. But on Saturday night, most restaurants serve until at least 11 p.m.

You don't indicate any cuisine preferences or budget, which would be very helpful in making appropriate suggestions. That said, here are some restaurants we like along with photos of meals we've had at them.

How low? It would be more helpful if you would give us a per person dollar figure for food only (drinks, tax & tip additional).

Slightly above your price point - Landmarc at the Time Warner Center,

For $30-35 a person, Bistro Cassis on Columbus bet'n 71 and 70th is good, French Bistro - yummy mussels and burgers. Cafe Ronda as suggested is also good, South American fare.

PJ Clarkes would be perfect especially at a lower price point.
