Cat casserole

  • 3

As the old joke goes, I love cats but I can never finish a whole one myself. This chef must have taken that literally.

  1. yeah, just saw that on drudge.

    ugh.

that chef looks like he might be ready to be boiled up himself. i'll bet he's been marinated.

""""Yesterday he said that he had only been joking about the recipe, and he had been misunderstood.

He added: “Mind you, I wasn’t joking all that much. In the 1930s and 1940s, when I was a boy, people certainly did eat cat

in the countryside around Arezzo.” Food historians said that Italians in cities such as Vicenza devised cat recipes in times of economic hardship. Inhabitants of Vicenza are still nicknamed magnagati (cat eaters), and in some butchers’ shops rabbits are sold with their heads to assure buyers that they are not cats.""""

    1. The look on the show's host's face was priceless! She had no idea what to do with it when he started talking about chowing down on kitties. All she could talk about was her own pet cat, Othello.
I was laughing out loud at the video clip. This was the craziest thing I've seen in a long time!
