Any New Wheelchair Accessible Restaurants?
I'm always on the lookout for wheelchair accessible restaurants with washrooms on the same floor. I started a thread on the subject in 2007 and got a lot of good leads which led to many enjoyable evenings.

I thought it might be time to revisit the subject to see if any new places have opened up.
I've never needed to consider this but your post has got me thinking.
Some spots that immediately come to mind are:
Mistura - high end italian
Gio's - reasonably priced italian
I'll Fornello on Danforth
Globe on the Danforth
I'll keep thinking.....

Le Papillon on the Park in the area between the Beach and Leslieville has a lovely wheelchair-accessible washroom at ground level. They opened soft in November but are planning an official launch in the spring (I think) when they will also be able to open their fabulous patio.
The restaurant design is a beautiful space all around with lots of large windows and two fireplaces. Food is good too. Service excellent.

The pictures of Le Papillon on the Park look amazing. Once patio season arrives it should do very well. The menu looks pretty good too.
I'll make a point of checking it out soon.

I'm not totally sure the patio itself is wheelchair accessible -- it's on the second level -- I guess you'd have to call to find out. I wouldn't wait until patio season in any event. If you're in the area, it's quite lovely now -- lots of light during the day and in the evening, they've got those fireplaces going.

I've always been amazed at how many restaurants in this city place their restrooms down in the basement - usually down a flight of long, narrow steps, no less!
Here are a couple that meet your needs:
Mildred's Temple Kitchen in Liberty Village
Frank at the AGO (has ramps)

C5 at the ROM is fully wheelchair accessible -- a nice open space to move around in (tables aren't crammed together) and elevators to get you there.

As a rule, any new restaurant in a new building in the GTA will be completely wheelchair accessible. That's the law. But a new restaurant that moves into a space previously occupied by an older restaurant does not have to change any of the facilities. So C5 in the new ROM is accessible, but Cinq 01 in the old Arthurs doesn't have to be.
