I'll be in Alpharetta on business next week and have a night free. I've been to Ray's Killer Creek in the past, but am looking for other recommendations from locals. Thanks.

I just tried Element Coffee near Alpharetta, off Crabapple. It was very, very good.

The main place I like to eat in Alpharetta is PURE Taqueria. Delicious margaritas, ceviches, and a great take on a Torta Cubana. Enjoy!

I like Vinny's on Windward Parkway. It is a more laid-back sister restaurant to Bistro VG in Roswell. Italian with an innovative twist, and they pride themselves on using the highest quality ingredients. http://www.knowwheretogogh.com/vinnys...

Our favorite sushi is also in Alpharetta - Sushi Nami on Windward Parkway. Everything we've had is very fresh. I love the lobster roll and the tempura. My husband always has the chirashi don, which has the best assortment of sashimi of any place he orders it in the Atlanta area.

Thanks - now that I look at a map again, I realized I've also been to Cabernet.

Second the nod for Sushi Nami.
