Wrigleyville Visit Next Week- What should I search out?

Hello all- I will be staying in Wrigleyville next week for 4 nights- what are the not to miss places I should plan to visit? Las Tablas Columbian Steakhouse is near our apartment- and looks interesting but I am looking for affirmation and recommendations. Thanks!

    1. I'm not familiar with that place. Here are places in Lakeview I like:

Hearty - www.heartyboys.com/hearty/index.html (I've only been there for their excellent brunch; they just started serving dinner a few months ago)
      Wishbone - www.wishbonechicago.com (Southern, breakfast/brunch)
      Orange - www.orangerestaurantchicago.com (another breakfast/brunch place)
      Giordano's (Belmont location) - www.giordanos.com (deep-dish "stuffed" pizza)
      TAC Quick (Thai)

There are lots more places (and a lot more variety) if you consider the surrounding neighborhoods too, such as Lincoln Park to the south, and North Center and Lincoln Square to the north:

Alinea (haute cuisine, Lincoln Park) - www.alinearestaurant.com
Charlie Trotter's (haute cuisine, Lincoln Park) - www.charlietrotters.com
North Pond (contemporary American, Lincoln Park) - www.northpondrestaurant.com
Sweets and Savories (contemporary American, Lincoln Park) - www.sweetsandsavoriesrestaurant.com
Mon Ami Gabi (French bistro, Lincoln Park) - www.monamigabi.com
Cafe Ba Ba Reeba (tapas, Lincoln Park) - www.cafebabareeba.com
Lou Malnati's (deep-dish "pizza in the pan", Lincoln Park) - www.loumalnatis.com
Sola (contemporary American, North Center) - www.solarestaurant.com
Fonda del Mar (provincial Mexican, North Center) - www.fondaonfullerton.com
Bistro Campagne (French bistro, Lincoln Square) - www.bistrocampagne.com
LM (French bistro, Lincoln Square) - www.lmrestaurant.com

The old Hearty Boys at 3404 N. Halstead is now called Home Bistro or simply "HB". Same chef, Joncarl Lachman, who was in the Hearty Boys kitchen. Been to dinner twice and enjoyed it greatly. BYOB with no corkage fee.

I f you're close to one of the Red LIne stops, take the train to Argyle to try some good Chinese BBQ ( Sun Wah) or Vietnamese ( Tank Noodle).
